French street artist JR has been selected to replace KennySharf’s vividly illustrated grafitti wall with a somber massive black and white wheatpaste. In an ironic contrast – caused by post huricane Irene water damage, JR’s paper began to weaken showing Sharf’s mural through the background.

I first saw this video in 2003 at The PowerPlant along side a massive exhibition on Liam Gillick.
